[ The fact that people jumped in makes him realize that not everywhere or everyone is like how most people are in the cultivation world.
It gives him a bit of hope, that no one will end up like Wei Wuxian had, or SQ had (he won't forget her, he promised.) ]
I'm glad. I was a little worried about it making you feel awful, but I do remember that a lot of people suddenly spoke up.
Even though this situation is awful, sometimes times like that reminds me that it's different than the way it is back home.
