Sorta? Alexei's with the Empire, while me n' Yeager are with the Guilds. That's two totally separate worlds fer reasons Alexei explained a while back. Yeager's guild is part of the Union, but I'd consider it loosely. He doesn't make many appearances at Union meetings, so I hadn't really interacted with him much before this place.

Dunno if you'd say "good friends", but I've gotten ta know 'em better. Alexei, though... He's way too uptight fer my tastes. I can't see us becomin' friends.

As fer Alexei, I'm pretty sure that man doesn't have a single humorous bone in his body. He just drank through Suga tryin' ta make him tell a joke, back at truth or dare.
Aw, Huaisang... I'm mighty pleased ta hear that. I never understood the stigma, myself! I'm just some old man tryin' ta scoot along through life, ya know?
