[ He takes in a shaky breath before he opens his door more, inviting Huaisang to come in as he hangs up the stage outfit. He won't be wearing it, but it's a nice reminder to have anyway. ]
I didn't expect the way for things to turn out as they had.
I still really can't trust much of anything anyone says, but even so...I feel like what Yuri and Jack were insinuating today—what they've been implying for a long time now—is true.
I think we both felt it. I'm a little worried about what this means, going forward, though.
The part about the traitors not needing to be persecuted, right? That maybe they aren't as malicious as we thought they were.
[ ... ]
I listened to what you had to say, too. I understand both sides. I don't think there's a right or wrong way to see this right now, but I can't say that my viewpoint is the same as it was yesterday.
Maybe we have been focusing on the wrong thing. I think it's still important to figure out who's working for Hamelin, but...the why matters more than I initially thought it would.
[ He really does not trust the traitors. He doesn't think he ever will? But... ]
I realized McGillis may have been right about what he said as well. I was unfortunately too angry to see it at the time, as embarrassing as it was.
I do think it's important for us to have discussed it, though. So the dead were right for us to look into it. But like you said it's still important to figure out the who and the why, but let's be honest it's kind of obvious now...or at least to me it is.
Um, please don't tell anyone I said that about Yuri...or what I've said here. That's part of why I came to you by myself.
I'll eventually mention at least to the others I think there is a point to thinking more about this again [ like he said earlier ] but it feels kind of like things would not go over too well if people think she's suspicious again. At the moment, anyway.
[ Huaisang doesn't know how he'd feel if she was a traitor. He'll need to figure that out first (he already figured out how he'd feel if McGillis was one, though.) ]
[ If Huaisang wanted the others to know, he would've said so. Tenn will keep this secret. ]
I get it. It's made me even more reluctant to go along with Suga-san's idea, if I'm being perfectly honest. I'll try to talk to him about it again, but I don't think the traitors are necessarily the callous people we initially thought they were.
They at least deserve a chance to explain themselves and make things right.

Did you want to talk about something?

Jack-san, I agree with. Yuri-san... I won't rule her out entirely, but I -- I don't know.
I'll be honest. If it does turn out to be her, then I don't think I could bring myself to detest her for it.

But you're right. I really want to hear them explain themselves. I want to know why and I can't know that if they're dead.
I don't really trust them to make things right but if they're honest about it, then...maybe.
