But I will tell you this: If destroying that object is going to be detrimental to all of you and prevent our escape here, I'd rather die than do what he says. I was tricked into doing this -- my source informed me that there were fairies who were already asked to give Riku his medicine anyway. So, you can understand why I'm not going to make good on my promise to Hamelin; he doesn't deserve that.
I fully intend on staying alive here otherwise, but I am not going to turn my back on any of you more than I did when I made that deal.
